Migic Audio To Midi Vst Plugin

Can I use one of these to:

Audio To Midi - Free plugin by Mind The Pressure. Translates audio to midi signal directly so it can be hooked up with any virtual instrument (direct download) WIDI Audio to MIDI - Not free. Somewhat similar to the above, but it has some stability problems. For the VST version you connect the midi output from the audio track directly to the midi input of the instrument track. In the AU version, the routing is performed through a new virtual midi port (called Migic) instead. This port is automatically created by MiGiC when the plugin is started.

Analyse an audio track(Just a synth line or melody part)VstMidi, and create a midi file. I want to be able to create a patch in Operator and have it play the melody from a tune I will be dj'ing with... (Can this be done at all?)
Analyse an audio track(Just the drum part - no vox/melody), and create a midi file. I want to be able to use the midi file to play drums from an impulse kit I have created. (Can this be done in Recyle w/ Reason? I'd much rather stay in live, though...)
Does anybody have experience of this? I've been looking at a few Audio > Midi VST's over at KVR - but none of the one's I've looked at seem to do the trick...
The possibilities are exciting - who want's to shoot me down and tell me it can't be done?

MiGiC by Bituosity (free, currently still in Beta) is an Audio Unit plugin that allows you to easily convert guitar to MIDI without any external hardware. Update: MiGiC has now reached beta 5 which adds features such as harmonized chords, and a user interface that is even easier to use.

MiGiC Features

Free Audio To Midi Vst

For beta 6 Bituosity is working on an offline version, to meet the demand from studio musicians with an offline studio computer. Bituosity is also adding personalized settings and they're making the program more stabile. Their ultimate goal is to release a polyphonic version of MiGiC with the lowest latency on the market.
